Sonia legally immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. Her parents were business owners in India who sold their Companies and used funds from the sale to move to beautiful Orange County. Born to a mathematician father and a mother who was a lawyer, her parents were able to overcome the struggles and challenges most immigrant families face upon moving to the United States. Through her parents, Sonia learned first hand that anyone with discipline, dedication, hard work, and excellent academic background can achieve not only financial stability but also aspire to follow their dreams and achieve economic prosperity.
It is also for this reason, Sonia believes academic excellence is imperative.
The Terwiske Family loves living in Aliso Viejo. They chose to call Aliso their home because of its excellent schools, beautiful trails, and proximity to the world’s best beaches.
As a mom, Sonia wants to be as present as possible in the lives of her children. Like her parents and most, she wants to give her children a better life than she had.
